Police Find Explosives Near Christmas Market in Potsdam, Germany
Police in the German city of Potsdam say they have found an explosive device next to a Christmas market.
The device was sent to a pharmacy in the city south-west of Berlin, leading to the evacuation of the nearby market.
Police have conducted a controlled explosion on the device, which the Potsdamer Neueste Nachrichten newspaper said had wires protruding from it.
Last December, 12 people were killed when a lorry was driven through a Christmas market in Berlin.
