August Ames: Canadian Adult Film Star Committed Suicide After SJWs Viciously Bullied Her for Refusing to Have Sex with Gay Man
A Canadian porn star relentlessly bullied on Twitter after saying she did not want to have sex with someone who had shot gay porn committed suicide by hanging herself.
August Ames, a 23-year-old rising star in the adult film industry, died Tuesday in California. The Ventura County Medical Examiner said Ames died of asphyxiation.
She had tweeted on December 3: "Whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @EroticaXnews, you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know. BS is all I can say. Do agents really not care about who they’re representing? I do my homework for my body."
The tweet garnered an onslaught of negative responses from radical leftists and gay porn performers who called her horrible names and continuously harassed her.
She later responded: "NOT homophobic. Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety. That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, I don’t know what they do in their private lives."
But the negative responses kept coming with one 'pansexual' porn actor named Jaxton Wheeler going as far as telling her to "Take a Cyanide Pill."
After Ames’ death, fellow porn stars came to her defense and slammed the online mob bullying her.
Months before her death the actress revealed her personal struggles in an interview with podcast host Holly Randall. She revealed she struggled with depression from her traumatic childhood. She stated that her mother was bipolar and that she was molested by her grandfather — a claim which she said her father never believed.
Ames was born Mercedes Grabowski in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1994, and worked in a bar and at a tanning salon before joining the adult film industry in 2013, according to AVN.
