Kendall & Kylie Jenner Apologize for 'Disgusting' T-Shirts
The late Notorious B.I.G.'s mother, Voletta Wallace, has slammed Kylie and Kendall Jenner over their latest marketing tool: "vintage" T-shirts with the pair's faces superimposed over some of rap and rock's biggest icons.
She took to Instagram to post the following.
According to TMZ, Wallace's lawyer, Julian Petty, also sent a cease-and-desist letter to the Jenners.
Sharon Osbourne, whose husband, Ozzy Osbourne, also had his likeness featured on one of the T-shirts, took aim at the Jenner sisters as well with a scathing tweet.
The shirts were taken down and Kylie Jenner tweeted, in part: "These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists."
A statement later released by the sisters' brand said the shirts are one-of-a-kind repurposed vintage T-shirts and the designs were "randomly selected and not well thought out." The brand, too, apologized for "any insensitivity" and added that "we missed the mark completely."
