Omar Khadr Fought for the Taliban & Murdered a Soldier, Trudeau Just Gave Him $10.5M
In 2002, Omar Khadr was 15 years old and was fighting with al- Qaeda in Afghanistan. During his terror vacation, Khadr killed Sgt. Christopher Speer of the U.S. Army.
On Friday, the Canadian government gave Khadr $8 million USD.
You read that right.
Stories this absurd are few and far between. And this one deserves your absolute fury.
Khadr is a terrorist. He knew what he was doing when he fought to defend terrorists like Osama bin Laden. That's why the U.S. government kept him imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay for 13 years. That Khadr was not released, even though many older inmates were, tells us something. It indicates that the U.S. government believed Khadr had to face justice for what he had done.
Sadly, in 2015, former President Barack Obama decided he wanted to suck up to his prime minister protege, Justin Trudeau. He released Khadr to Canadian custody. And the payment Khadr has now received is foul.
The Canadian government says that the millions they've shelled out are necessary to settle Khadr's lawsuit alleging Canadian collusion in his interrogations at Guantanamo. But that's a lie. What this is really about is placating leftist freaks who have taken on Khadr's cause.
For years now, Khadr has been the talk of liberal dinner parties across Canada. Khadr's supporters believe was a confused young boy who lost his way in the Afghan mountains and ended up being tortured at the Guantanamo concentration camp. And we know Trudeau's government has sympathy for this view.
Consider how the government announced the payment. It stated its "hope that this expression, and the negotiated settlement reached with the government, will assist him in his efforts to begin a new and hopeful chapter in his life with his fellow Canadians."
