George Soros Spending More Than Ever to Push His Liberal Agenda Worldwide
WASHINGTON, D.C., (LifeSiteNews) — One of the world’s wealthiest men is investing even more of his money into global political influence.
The Washington Free Beacon reports that billionaire George Soros is doubling his spending on lobbying Congress through his “Open Society Policy Center” (OSPC).
Soros’ OSPC group will spend approximately $9.2 million this year for a total of $41.6 million since 2013 — twice as much as he spent in the past 10 years combined ($19.1 million).
OSPC utilizes full-time, in-house lobbyists working the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, National Security Council, Defense Department, and State Department.
Soros is using his considerable wealth to lobby for favorable legislation and push a liberal agenda around the world in the name of “democracy.”
The billionaire activist uses a well-developed network of Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) to advance revolutions around the world, the war on police, Black Lives Matter riots, Occupy Wall Street, globalism, and other hallmarks of liberalism.
Soros’ liberal influence on Hungary became so prevalent that the Hungarian Parliament passed a law reigning in foreign NGOs seeking to change the Hungarian pro-life, pro-family, and pro-marriage culture.
Besides political and cultural dominance, Soros also financially wields economic power globally. He is currently embroiled in a $10 billion lawsuit for allegedly orchestrating the African country of Guinea’s freezing of Israeli iron ore mining contracts.
Former Department of Justice Attorney J. Christian Adams warned, “Americans do not understand the extent to which Soros fuels this anti-constitutional, anti-American agenda.”
Soros’ efforts were particularly successful in the Democratic Party. Adams told Fox News that Soros was “instrumental in shaping Department of Justice policy under the Obama administration.”
It is also alleged that Soros-funded groups were behind anti-Trump mobs that blocked streets, set fires, injured police officers, and destroyed property the day after the November 8 national election.
