Police Search for Suspect in Violent Etobicoke Sex Assault

Police say they are searching for a 31-year-old Toronto man in connection to a violent sexual assault in Etobicoke Thursday afternoon.

Investigators allege Garnet St. Clair visited an address in the Lake Shore Blvd. West and Royal York area sometime before 3 p.m. that day. 

According to a news release, a woman was kidnapped by the suspect at knife point and then forced to a nearby apartment, where she was threatened, assaulted with a weapon and sexually assaulted. 

Investigators say St. Clair is considered armed, violent and dangerous, and should not be approached.

Anyone who spots him is asked to call 911 immediately.
