New Information Released on Islamist Danforth Shooter

We're learning more about what police found in their search of the home of the man who went on a shooting rampage along the Danforth last summer.

Two young women were killed and 13 others hurt during that shooting on July 22nd.

Newly unsealed documents show that a police dog found a several ammunition clips, including two extended capacity magazines for a 9mm handgun.

Police also found two magazines for an AK-47 assault rifle along with shotgun and other ammunition.

Possession of a magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds, is a criminal offence in Canada.

Faisal Hussain died by his own hand, a self-inflicted gunshot wound, after a short shootout with police.
